南韓遊戲開發商 Webzen（代表金泰英）於本月 10 日公佈，其子公司 Webzen Krebics（代表金東賢）開發中的新作「專案 D1」首次公開了遊戲畫面與相關資訊。這款遊戲是改編自南韓網路漫畫平臺「NAVER WEBTOON」上的人氣作品《成為防禦遊戲的暴君》IP，是一款指揮戰略角色扮演遊戲（RPG）。Webzen 表示，為了呈現原作獨特的點陣圖世界觀，遊戲採用了結合 2D 畫素藝術與 3D 空間表現的「Diorama Pixel Art」手法，並使用虛幻引擎 5（Unreal Engine 5）打造 3D 圖形後端，輔以手工繪製的點陣圖形。遊戲系統將原作的核心元素「探索、防禦戰、領地經營」重組為隊伍組合、戰術運用與指揮戰鬥的形式。Webzen 已於 2025 年 12 月與 NAVER WEBTOON 簽訂 IP 使用合約，公佈遊戲化訊息。此次公開標誌著該公司下半年行銷活動的開始。
